PINE TREE PACE SERVES STUDENTS THROUGH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

Instead of serving our students for one big day in the middle of the summer.... Pine Tree PACE is serving them for the whole middle month of the summer! Pine Tree PACE Campus in partnership with Partners in Prevention’s Hope for Youth supports a community focused program for area students.  Students  grades 5th and up are invited to attend the program on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10am to 1pm. The program will end on July 28, 2017 with a grand finale day to be scheduled!

Program  activities are based on student interests (game design, culinary arts, gardening, fine arts). Other program aspects include: partner community agencies presentations, career/interest talks, personal fitness, nutrition). Aspects of the SAVE (Students Against Violence Everywhere) Program are incorporated in the focused restorative practices conversations. This is an ideal program for older  students to volunteer in the community!

To register a student or for more information, please contact Shalonda Adams @ 903-932-1936 @sadams@ptisd.org.
