Pine Tree Art Students Bring Home Seven Awards in LMFA Invitational - More Awards Than Any ET High School

Pine Tree High School art students brourght home seven awards at the 57th Annual Student Art Invitational. Pine Tree won more awards than any other high school in East Texas which included the Student Choice Award.

This year's judge was East Texas artist, Sharon Grimes, whose work is also on exhibit. 

The show will be displayed at the LMFA until March 25. The Longview Museum of  Fine Arts is located at: 215 East Tyler Ave in downtown Longview.

  • Jonathan Garcia, 1st Place Printmaking, $100
  • Cruz Montanez, 2nd Place Printmaking, $50

  • Ka'Deshia Wells, 1st Place Photography/Computer Graphics, $100
  • Vashayla Charvis, 3rd Place Photography/Computer Graphics, $25
