Parent Engagement Survey Available

Pine Tree ISD believes it is important that parents, teachers and administrators work together as a community to support and ensure the success of every student who walks the halls of the Pine Tree campuses. To gain these insights, PTISD leadership team is asking parents and guardians to participate in a survey to help gather the data.

“As part of this collaborative effort, it is critical we hear from the parents and guardians of our students,” said Dr. TJ Farler, Superintendent. “We have designed a Survey for Parent Engagement, to collect information that will help us to meet our goals for continuous improvement.”

The survey is open until Friday, March 24th, and available in English and Spanish, online or in paper version.

Survey topics include questions about involvement, communication, and parent resources. A web link to a ‘Parent Engagement Survey’ is provided on the district website, and each of the campus home web pages. Parents with children on multiple campuses need to submit only one survey that applies to their oldest child.

A computer is available for parents to use at both campus and central offices to take the survey online. Parents may also complete the paper version of the survey, which is available at each campus office or at central office in both English and Spanish. The deadline to complete this survey is Friday, March 24th so that the results may be shared in a Board Meeting scheduled for April 2014.
